About Ellabori

The name is a mission statement

Ellabori comes from the Esperanto verb ellabori, which roughly means: to work something out, to develop it thoroughly, to arrive at a solution, to see something through to the end. It's pronounced el-la-BOH-ree.

A problem is a task, not an obstacle

We don't see problems as inherently negative. To us, they're tasks that can be understood, worked through and turned into something genuinely helpful. That outlook is built into the name itself, and it shapes how we build software.

Human, and focused on solutions

We use technology — including artificial intelligence — where it creates a real benefit and takes complexity off people's hands. Never as an end in itself, but as a tool for a benefit people actually feel in everyday life.

The Ellabori process

Four steps from complexity to clarity

01

Take on complexity

We don't sidestep complicated problems — we take them as our starting point.

02

Understand the problem

Before we build anything, we understand what's actually at stake — from the perspective of the people who will use the solution.

03

Work out a clear solution

From that understanding, we work out a solution stripped down to what actually matters.

04

Put technology to use

So that the solution becomes genuinely easy for people to use — not the other way around.

We work it out.

Ellabori works it out: we keep refining a solution until it's genuinely simple for people to use. That's the standard behind every product we build.
